- Charge your new batteries for 8 - 12 hours before their first use. The charger light will turn green before that, but they will actually be trickle-charging. This maximizes the charge the battery is capable of holding.

- It is counter-intuitive for a smoker, but the electronic cigarette will work best if you hold the tip at a downward angle, not up. This allows the liquid to flow into the atomizer, rather than away from it.

- If the atomizer is getting hot when you draw, but there's little or no smoke coming out, your cartridge is probably empty and needs to be changed.

- If the atomizer in not getting hot when you draw, but there's little or no smoke coming out, then your battery is probably very nearly depleted. Try taking a few more draws. You will know the battery needs to be changed with the tip blinks.

- Every so often, about once every 5 charges, the battery will initiate a cleaning cycle for the atomizer. Similar to a self-cleaning oven, the battery will super-heat the atomizer for a few seconds to burn off deposits. The tip will blink during this process, and the atomizer will become very warm. Just let it finish and wait a minute for the atomizer to cool down.

- Smokestik starter kits have a 1 year hardware warranty. If one of your batteries stops working, or your atomizer stops working, contact me and I will replace it for you, free of charge.

- Even with the warranty, it's not a bad idea to have an extra atomizer on hand. There's nothing worse that having an atomizer fail at 11pm while you're out at a bar, and not being able to get a replacement until the next day.
